Located north of Mason City, this through girder bridge is one of two bridges crossing a divided section of US Highway 65.
Reportedly built in 1934, the bridge consists of a single through girder set onto concrete substructures. The bridge features a typical ballasted deck.
The abutments of the bridge are unique, showing two distinct types of concrete. It is possible that this bridge replaced an older bridge.
Overall, the bridge appears to be in good condition, with little deterioration.

The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
